PBS Western Reserve is Northeast Ohio’s public media home -- a trusted source of news, education, and storytelling that communities across the region have counted on for decades. We’re looking for a driven, relationship-first Account Executive to grow and manage the corporate sponsorships that help make that mission possible.

What You Can Earn

• $52,000+ Base salary to start
• 8% Commission on every dollar of collected revenue. A current book of Sponsors is provided for renewal. No cap, no tiering, no fine print
• Additional 5% on new dollars collected over renewal goal amount.

The more you bring in, the more you earn.

What you’ll do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing corporate partners.
• Develop new sponsorship partnerships with customized proposals tied to each client’s goals.
• Own your pipeline: track activity, forecast revenue, and report progress against your annual goal.
• Represent PBS Western Reserve at community events and local networking.
• Partner with internal teams to make sure every client commitment is executed well.

What we’re looking for

• 2-5 years in account management, partnership development, or revenue-generating sales
• A natural relationship-builder. You remember names, follow through, and people genuinely enjoy working with you.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and staying organized without significant handholding.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a consultative approach to client engagement.
• Background in media, advertising, sponsorship, or nonprofit fundraising is a plus, but not required
