We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across various functions.
Responsibilities:• Provide analytical and system support to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Deliver tactical and sourcing support for key direct material categories.
• Ensure smooth logistics operations for supplier shipments and plant deliveries.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update direct material pricing for assigned categories.
• Assist in resolving raw material supply chain challenges.
• Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies using benchmarking and industry analysis tools.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as market price fluctuations and quality issues.
• Manage and monitor cost-saving initiatives and innovation projects.
• Facilitate communication between plants and suppliers, including inventory checks and packaging updates.• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in supply chain support, packaging experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data for decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to establish credibility and foster collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build relationships with external suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
• Ethical, dependable, and customer-focused with a commitment to achieving business objectives.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier and company plants.
