Transportation Engineer

Location: Ohio (hybrid flexibility)

Compensation: $70,000-$120,000

Type: Full-time

A multidisciplinary civil and planning consultancy is looking for a Transportation Engineer to support the planning and design of public infrastructure projects across Ohio. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of work-from municipal roadways and safety improvements to trails, roundabouts, and complete streets-with room to grow technically and professionally.

You'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers and planners, contribute to design development, and see projects move from concept to construction.

What You'll Do

• Support planning and design for roadway and active transportation projects
• Perform research, data analysis, and field reviews
• Develop CAD-based design plans and visual exhibits
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and technical documentation
• Participate in quality reviews and client coordination

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of relevant transportation or civil experience
• EIT required; PE preferred
• Familiarity with CAD and industry design tools
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
