**Job Summary:**
The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions of a designated region or area within the skilled nursing sector. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across multiple facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals within the region.
2. **Financial Management:** Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue management for each facility within the region. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
3. **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
4. **Quality Assurance:** Maintain high standards of care delivery and resident satisfaction across all facilities. Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes.
5. **Staff Leadership:** Provide leadership and guidance to facility administrators and staff within the region. Foster a positive work environment and promote professional development opportunities.
6. **Interdepartmental Collaboration:** Collaborate with other departments, including human resources, clinical services, and marketing, to support organizational objectives and enhance interdisciplinary teamwork.
7. **Risk Management:** Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with risk management protocols and promote a culture of safety.
8. **Performance Evaluation:** Evaluate facility performance metrics and develop action plans to address areas for improvement. Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews.
9. **Communication:** Maintain open communication channels with facility administrators, corporate leadership, and other stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between corporate headquarters and regional facilities.
10. **Community Relations:** Build relationships with community stakeholders, referral sources, and regulatory agencies. Represent the organization at industry conferences and events.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
