CDL Class A Driver
We are seeking a professional, safety-oriented CDL Class A Driver for OTR. You will be responsible for the timely and safe transport of general freight.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) and ensure all loads are properly secured.
- Manage necessary paperwork (e.g., bills of lading, manifests) and adhere to all DOT regulations, including HOS rules.
- Maintain open communication with dispatch regarding delays, issues, and delivery status.
- Ensure timely delivery while providing exceptional service to customers at pickup and delivery sites.
Required Qualifications
- License: Must possess a valid CDL Class A license.
- Experience: 6 month verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Compliance: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to pass all DOT drug and alcohol screenings.
- Physical: Ability to meet all physical demands of the job, including securing the loads and providing all of the documentation.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Flexible
- Home Time: Every weekend / Flexible
- Pay: 0.65$ per mile
