Fiscal Manager
Under general direction, as a programmer/analyst, performs difficult and specialized professional work pertaining to the deelopment, support, enhancement and upgrade of a number of client-server-based applications; using PowerBuilder, Structured Query Language (SQL), and enterprise-level, relational databases; analyzes user requirements, hardware/software problems and use/staff procedures; codes, tests and implements software solutions; assists users and other technical staff with problem areas.
Position #: 21165-29-00-122-11-01 Minimum Requirements Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields; requires extensive knowledge of Information Technology concepts and principles, the theories and functions of computer systems, and the principles and techniques of Information Technology documentation; requires working knowledge of hardware and software, language, and procedures to provide assigned technical and analytical services; prefers a minimum of two years experience in designing, coding, testing, implementing and maintaining client-server based information systems, utilizing PowerBuilder, SQL and an enterprise-level, relational database; prefers a minimum of one year experience with windows NT/XP, Word and Excel. Experience with offender management and/or accounting inventory/point of sale systems is also highly desirable.
