Our Clyde Recovery House supports adults in early recovery by offering a stable environment, accountability, and daily structure. We are seeking a dependable and patient Housing Technician who can help maintain a safe and supportive living environment for our residents.

Position Summary
The Housing Technician serves as an essential support role within our Clyde Recovery House. This position focuses on resident oversight, safety monitoring, routine facility tasks, and helping maintain a positive and recovery-focused atmosphere. The role is ideal for applicants who are dependable, composed, and comfortable supporting individuals in early recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site oversight of residents and reinforce house expectations and recovery routines
• Conduct regular walk-throughs to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with program rules
• Assist residents with check-ins, documentation, and general support needs
• Monitor curfews, visitor rules, and sign-in/sign-out procedures
• Communicate concerns promptly to the supervisor or clinical staff
• Support emergency or crisis procedures when needed
• Maintain logs, shift notes, and basic facility upkeep
• Uphold Talbot’s standards for professionalism, confidentiality, and client respect

Schedule and Work Environment

• Hourly, non-exempt position
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on house needs
• Work takes place on-site at the Clyde Recovery House in a structured, supportive, and team-oriented setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in behavioral health, residential support, peer recovery, or human services preferred
• Reliable, professional, and able to maintain clear boundaries with residents
• Strong communication and basic documentation skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in sensitive or stressful situations
• Must pass background checks required for Ohio behavioral health settings
