Steel Fabrication Laborer

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Laborers to join our team in a heavy industrial metal manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in hands-on environments, value teamwork, and take pride in contributing to the backbone of American infrastructure.

Pay & Shift

$18-$19/hour

Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling, sorting, and bundling metal and related materials.
• Support machine operators by loading and unloading stock and preparing materials.
• Use hand and power tools to perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, or grinding.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment with training provided.
• Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Perform general facility upkeep and assist with production line tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, construction, assembly, and general production.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machine operation.

Work Environment

This position is based in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting, involving work around large, powerful machinery and heavy steel materials. The environment includes a bustling production floor with hydraulic and mechanical equipment in operation, exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, and varying temperatures, and routine handling of long steel rebar and other bulky items. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required. The atmosphere is team-focused with safety and efficiency as top priorities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, Delaware.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
