Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing electronic hardware and firmware for a variety of applications, particularly in the field of digital advertising and communications. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs while ensuring high standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical and embedded systems.
- Create and review PCB layouts and schematics using Altium and other design tools.
- Develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems, with a focus on C programming.
- Design and implement analog and digital circuits, including power circuits and high-speed interfaces.
- Conduct design validation tests (DVT) and troubleshooting of hardware components.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate embedded software with hardware.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Research and recommend new technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on PCB and hardware design.
- Proficiency in Altium and experience with PCB layout.
- Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, including PIC, and embedded software development.
- Experience with communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, I2C, and UART.
- Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with FPGA development and high-speed digital design.
- Experience in the digital advertising or communications industry is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
