Director of operations systems

Overview:

As our Director of Operations, Systems & Technologies, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

We are seeking a strategic and process-driven Director to manage our technical and operational vendor partnerships, enhance system capabilities for our customers and team members, and chart the technical vision for our operational leadership team. This individual should have an owner-operator mentality focused on continuous improvement of our servicing processes and applications.

This position is located at our Akron, OH, office and has a hybrid schedule. We’re onsite Monday through Wednesday, and you will lead a team of Program Managers and system experts in optimizing servicing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

As our Director of Operations, Systems & Technologies, you will:

Develop, manage, and execute strategies to improve operational systems, technologies, and workflows

Lead of team of process and program managers, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement

Manage systems and technologies through their lifecycles through prioritization and planning

Manage vendor relationships as the key point of contact between vendors and the business; serve as a point of escalation for vendor issues and disputes, and drive issues to resolution

Partner and collaborate with other key business areas to meet your objections and optimize servicing for our customers and stakeholders

Manage cost, compliance, security, and scalability of operational systems

Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in the financial servicing industry

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Proven experience managing applications through their lifecycle

Demonstrated ability to apply project management methodologies in large-scale efforts

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and lead in a cross-functional environment with all levels of executive management

Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills

Creative thought leader to address structured and unstructured problems

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong collaborative disciplines across multi-functional roles and business lines

Some experience working with contractual provisions and familiarity with business contracts is preferred

Ability to manage a high-performing team, mentor strong performers who demonstrate high potential, and support their continued growth
