Commercial Lines Filings Coordinator - Ohio
- Handle filings and policy transactions by processing through systems and/or correspondence via on-line system.
- Examine and process filings requests generating from applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations. Accept or reject based on eligibility, accuracy, and completeness.
- Interpret Plan Rules and manuals.
- Perform all Certification and Complaint activities.
- Search for and investigates information contained in files, inserts, additional data on file records, completes reports, keeps files and supplies information from file data or removes upon request.
- Contact producers regarding incomplete applications or other Filings related inquiries.
- Respond to telephone inquiries, correspondence and complaints from agents, insureds, authority agencies, and companies.
- Read incoming material and sorts according to file system.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage work. Advance skills using MS Excel.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues, find the root cause of the problem, and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or individuals.
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by being able to follow directions and interpret customer needs.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly automobile insurance, preferred.
