Credence has an immediate opening for a Senior Test and Evaluation Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/RSO at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

RSO’s mission is to advance the SECAF’s direction and “…leverage mature, new, and emerging technology to reduce sustainment costs and improve readiness…” The RSO will play a role in sustainment analogous to a research laboratory in development. Its customer base—the logistics and sustainment enterprise—should come to view RSO as their center of excellence for identifying, maturing, and transitioning technologies with traceable and measurable readiness impacts, cost reductions, and ease of use. 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Advise the Chief of Test/Deputy Chief of Test on all software T&E activities.
  • Assist in developing/documenting software T&E strategy that integrates policy, program requirements, cost & resource estimates, evaluation framework, and software T&E schedule to accomplish program goals.
  • Coordinate the planning, management, and oversight of software DT&E activities and maintain oversight of Contractor and Participating Test Organization software T&E activities supporting the program.
  • Advise the PM on software test issues, and help the PM make technically informed, objective decisions about software system contractor DT&E results.
  • Be responsible for issues regarding prime software T&E, such as identifying test scope and resource requirements; planning and conducting software DT&E; supporting software OT and software OT readiness; planning, coordinating, and supporting TIMs, FTRWG, and TPWG; and planning, writing, and coordinating test documents such as TEMPs.
  • Use automated or manual testing procedures to assess the functionality of software and applications while ensuring software meets quality standards according to client requirements or company policies
  • Provide support for planning, coordination, and execution of the ITT and the Contractor shall obtain and provide status of software T&E projects to senior leadership as required.
  • Provide support for strategic software test resource planning, to include, but not limited to, developmental and software OT resources for known and potential future software test programs.
  • Assist in execution of the Test Resource Planning Council (TRPC) process and coordinate and support the documentation of TRPC decisions.
  • Provide advisory, documentation, and coordination assistance for the development of responses to higher headquarters inquires, public affairs requests, and inputs to annual reports such as OSD annual reports.
  • Train and mentor other organization test managers in software testing techniques, policies, and procedures and work within required IPT’s to develop software that supports stated requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret
  • Master’s degree and ten years of experience or
  • Bachelor’s degree and eight additional years of experience may be substituted
  • Have experience in identifying and developing mitigation for T&E risk factors
  • Be able to translate requirements to support T&E planning efforts
  • Be familiar with all T&E policies, practices, procedures
  • Have experience in T&E management (e.g., T&E IPT, Integrated Test Team, etc.)
  • Have experience in writing/translating test documents such as TEMP, developmental test plans, and OT plans
