Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Lima, Ohio, starting 07/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,745 to $1,823 with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Work setting: acute care environment with emergency services, requiring the nurse to float to all units within the scope of the ER skill set.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ED patients, including triage, monitoring, medication administration, and ongoing assessment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluating patient responses and adjusting as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the health care team to coordinate urgent and emergent care
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the patient record per policy
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and safety concerns
- Float to all units within the nurse’s skill level as required, maintaining scope of practice and patient safety

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Ohio or a valid compact license (per Nursys)
- 1+ year of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts and to float to all units within skill level
- Demonstrated clinical judgment, critical thinking, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN)
