Maintenance Technician
Banyan Living is a leading property management company dedicated to providing luxurious living experiences in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain our high standards of property management.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring that our apartment communities are safe, clean, and inviting for all residents. You will work closely with the management team to address maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments and common areas
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from residents
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs as necessary
- Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents, including cleaning and repairs
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
