## Senior Exocad Designer & Scan/Design Quality Specialist

### Overview

Snap Dental is a fast-growing digital dental laboratory seeking a highly experienced Senior Exocad Designer & Scan/Design Quality Specialist to lead design quality and help scale our internal CAD team. This role is ideal for a confident, experienced designer who understands both technical excellence and team leadership.

You will begin with a strong focus on scan and design quality control while actively contributing designs. As the lab grows, you will play a key role in building, training, and guiding a small design team under you. This position offers a clear path toward a Design Team Lead role.

### Key Responsibilities

#### 1\. Scan Quality Review

Review incoming intraoral and lab scans to ensure they meet production standards, including:

* Margin clarity
* Stitch accuracy and consistency
* Bite relationship accuracy
* Tissue interference
* Missing or incomplete data
* Preparation quality
* Path of insertion visibility

Only clean, production-ready scans should move forward.

#### 2\. Design Quality Review

Evaluate digital restorations before final approval, ensuring:

* Accurate margin tracing
* Proper occlusion and contact strength
* Clear and correct path of insertion
* Appropriate thickness and anatomy
* Functional and aesthetic emergence profiles
* Consistent morphology, symmetry, and fit

Document issues clearly and ensure corrections are completed.

#### 3\. Exocad Design Work

Perform advanced CAD design using Exocad, including:

* Single-unit anterior and posterior crowns
* Small bridges
* Cement-retained and screw-retained implant crowns
* Nightguards and bite splints
* Other standard restorations as needed

While quality control is the initial priority, hands-on design work will increase as the team scales.

#### 4\. Leadership and Team Development

As a senior member of the team, you will:

* Help establish and document internal design standards
* Train and mentor junior designers
* Review and approve team design output
* Assist in expanding and organizing the design team
* Contribute to long-term workflow and operational improvements

This role is designed as a long-term leadership position.

### Job Requirements

#### Required Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of professional Exocad experience
* Advanced skills in:
* Crown and bridge design
* Implant restorations, cemented and screw-retained
* Margin tracing
* Occlusion and contact development
* Anatomy, morphology, and emergence profiles
* Scan evaluation and digital workflow troubleshooting
* Fast, accurate, and consistent design output
* Strong English communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to work independently in a remote setting

#### Preferred Skills

* Experience mentoring or supervising other designers
* Nightguard or removable design experience
* 3Shape CAD experience
* Strong understanding of occlusal principles
