Production Technician
Job Description
Maintain ATE and computer hardware, conduct routine and emergency maintenance to ensure high availability to develop, maintain, and install upgrades to software on assigned product lines. Maintain Final Test work instructions in a controlled format, up-rev as required. Interface with ES&S, Engineering, Service Techs and others to replicate/troubleshoot field failures. Revise test code/work instructions to screen for failure if possible, interface with Engineering and others to develop/revise test code and equipment for new and transferred product, and assist Quality Engineers in developing test methods. Develop ATE solution as needed, improve testing processes and help eliminate root causes of product failures by auditing the testing and manufacturing processes. Test/program computer control boards of units. May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
