Venetian Marina is located on beautiful Sandusky Bay in Sandusky, Ohio. We are the place for family, friends and fun. For over 25 years, our full-service marina and experienced staff have provided our members with the comfort and convenience they expect.
Venetian Marina, a Hoty Marine Group affiliated company, is looking for a Marina Service Manager . Responsibilities include sales of marina services, providing customer service, and managing seasonal employees.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage 10 service technicians. Set schedules, oversee workload, inspect and approve completed work, approve customer billing.
· Assist with the sales of Dockage, Rack Storage, Boat Repair and Winter Storage Services
· Engage with customers to provide exceptional service experience, while handling any customer inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
· Oversee the daily operations of seasonal team members, including training, employee relations, and task delegation.
· Partner with office administration and bookkeeping staff to handle sales paperwork and payment processing.
· Assist with office operations, including greeting guests, responding to emails, managing software entries, and keeping the space organized.
What We Are Looking For:
· Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high attention to detail and customer satisfaction
- Experience with managing service technician and quoting service jobs
· Embraces teamwork, demonstrating a collaborative approach working with peers
· Excels at building strong rapport with long-term customers and great interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Knowledge of boating a plus but not required
· Hospitality or similar service-related experience is a plus
· Requires weekend work May through September
