Job Overview:
Apartment Painters is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager for our Columbus, OH market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate settings, with experience in industries such as automotive, logistics, construction, multi-family housing, or property management/maintenance. The Account Manager will be responsible for working cross-functionally with our internal team of technicians, administrative team as well as developing a market strategy for sales & client facing efforts toward growing new & existing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead by example, providing guidance, motivation, and support to Branch Manager & technicians
- Ensure accountability and high standards of work within the team
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage daily workload consisting of managing a route to meet new client conversion, client retention and outbound call metrics
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure service excellence
- Ensure best practices are being followed for vendor setup, invoicing and payment methods
- Implement and maintain effective operational procedures
- Client Relations:
- Work hand and hand with Branch Management & technicians to maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
- Identify opportunities for business growth and client satisfaction
- Administrative Duties:
- Utilize computer skills to manage accounts strategically, including Excel, company CRM and G Suite
- Prepare reports on performance and operational metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a corporate setting, preferably in automotive, logistics, construction, multifamily housing, or property management/maintenance
- Demonstrated experience in sales and client-facing roles
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using computer applications, particularly experience utilizing a CRM
- Basic technical skills and aptitude for learning new tools
- Attributes:
- High level of accountability and integrity
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service
