Procurement specialist
Position: Commodity Specialist Level 4
Location: Mayfield Heights, OH-44124 – Onsite Role
Duration: 12+ months Contract
Experienced Required: Minimum 8+ year
Duties:
- Designs, implements, and administers commodity acquisition strategy. Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability.
- Develops negotiation strategies to create a "win-win” relationship between the company and suppliers. Assists in identifying new, high potential suppliers on a global basis.
- Frequently interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others or conduct presentations of complex technical information/project activities. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires and in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Establishes operational objectives and work plans. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other employees.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Rockwell will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Skills:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
