About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Electro-Mechanical Engineer/Manager to lead the design, customization, and global implementation of our safety switch solutions. You'll oversee a talented team of engineers and collaborate cross-functionally to bring advanced thermal protection devices to life-devices that fit within the tight tolerances of today's compact consumer products and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead product development lifecycle for thermal safety switches, from concept to release
- Oversee the electrical design and performance testing of controls used in motors, battery packs, and appliances
- Collaborate with customers to define and deliver highly customized solutions that meet precise application needs
- Manage and mentor engineers across electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes, quality, and manufacturability
- Interface with global sales, manufacturing, and compliance teams to ensure smooth product rollout
- Monitor emerging technologies and regulatory changes to guide innovation and compliance
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of product development experience in thermal, electrical, or motor-related industries
- Prior leadership or management experience
- Strong background in small electromechanical components or sensor-based safety systems
- Comfortable working with customized, high-mix product lines
- Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills
