Senior Material Engineer

salary: $78.86 - 110.40 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire packaging development lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to performance testing and optimization for manufacturability.
- Troubleshoot design and material issues while identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives across labor, materials, and transportation.
- Evaluate, select, and collaborate with global suppliers and engineering teams to establish standards, optimize the supply base, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze engineering drawings, physical specifications, and safety requirements, while recommending testing methods and efficiency tools to validate designs.
- Partner with product management, operations, manufacturing, and product introduction teams to successfully deliver new, top-quality products to market.
