DevOps Tier II Service Desk Engineer

• Work on Service Desk as Tier 2 agent for issues escalated that require pipeline SME knowledge.
• Diagnose and develop fixes to implement quickly and efficiently for production incidents.
• Configure and manage CI/CD tool set for COTs solution deployment.
• Develop and drive real time observability solutions that provide visibility into system health.
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement software/data delivery.
• Support to monitor, troubleshoot and report system, infrastructure, and interoperability issues.
• Support deployment and monitoring of intrusion detection and vulnerability scanning system.
• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and operations as well as service desk processes.
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on cloud operations best practices.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Service Incidents
• Set up intelligent application performance alerts (AIOps)
• Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance in close cooperation with the Security Operations and Compliance teams
• Automate back-up and restore capabilities

• 3+ years overall experience covering application development, architecture, quality assurance and production support
• 3+ years industry experience in DevOps architecture related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions and platform automation
• 3+ years of experience handling application build, configuration management, deployment & release engineering
• 2+ years experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS vendor or other cloud service provider.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Hold or have the ability to acquire a government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with Jira Automation
• Experience working with open source software and tooling
• Release automation, (e.g., Jenkins), system administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience.
• Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools for such as ELK, Sumo, Datadog etc.
• Experience with scripting in Python, Ruby, JSON, Go or Bash.
• Experience with large-scale, distributed COTS solutions deployed on AWS.

• System level architecture experience is a plus, preferably in cloud and distributed environment platform.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Similar (DoD-8570 IAT Level III certification).
• Hold a Federal government SECRET clearance
• Experience with going through a cloud regulatory certification.
