Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Mayfield Heights, Ohio

- Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio 44124 (Cleveland area)
- Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) – 5 Main
- Position Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State (required for travel nursing jobs)
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- One supervisory reference from a Med/Surg Telemetry manager, ANM, supervisor, or director
- Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start date
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry hospital unit
- Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient care documentation
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training as required
- Deliver compassionate support to patients and their families
