In this OB/GYN RN role, your responsibilities will be comprehensive and pivotal. You’ll perform direct patient assessments, monitor fetal well-being, and implement obstetric protocols under physician or midwife supervision. You’ll manage triage, assist with labor and delivery, and support postpartum recovery, breastfeeding education, and newborn care education. Medication administration, including labor meds and analgesia, will be part of your practice, as will meticulous charting, care coordination, and patient and family education. You’ll participate in safety checks, lead or participate in rounds with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to improvement initiatives that advance OB standards.
