Open Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

Duties :

  • Works directly with Staff Accountant to accurately process overhead invoices, expense reports and accounting transactions within deadlines
  • Uses accounting system to record, process and analyze accounting transactions
  • Uses Wayne Homes’ chart of accounts
  • Process work orders from customer care team
  • Refund homeowner deposits
  • Maintain accuracy of coding
  • Work with vendors and answer questions regarding payments

Skill-set/Qualifications should include :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience with accounting software preferred
  • Ability to type 35 WPM
