The Impact You'll Make

To support the supply chain team in the daily tasks of completing a customer order request from beginning to end. To assist with projects relating to customer service, demand planning, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.

This is a 1st Shift position.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Track inventory levels and manage stock to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
• Release purchase orders from established suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze and resolve blocked invoices to increase prompt accounts payable to suppliers.
• Release production orders in response to low inventory and customer requirements.
• Process inventory-related transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist Customer Service with order updates for past due and expedited orders.
• Support the Key Performance Indicators of On-time delivery, Days of Inventory, Past due reduction,
• Contribution Margin and freight cost reduction.
• Vacation coverage as needed.

What We're Looking For

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management.
• This position requires the use of information or access to technology which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR. ITAR/EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of PC tools including internet, email, MS Office and scanning
• Understanding of Supply Chain Topics
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
• Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
