Pharmacy Technician
Description: Full-time pharmacy technician position in a nuclear pharmacy
Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday from 4am until noon

**
Nuclear pharmacy technician will be responsible for the following:**
- Receiving and accurately entering phone in, fax, and electronic orders for radiopharmaceuticals into the pharmacy software system
- Accurately and aseptically drawing individual patient doses from compounded kits
- Efficiently route couriers to deliver orders by the specified time
- Receive pharmacy inventory and accurately enter it into the pharmacy software
- Ensure waste produced during the shift is disposed of according to pharmacy policy
- Completing quality control measures for equipment as well as compounded radiopharmaceuticals
- Completing daily lab cleaning/sanitizing
- Any additional tasks assigned by the pharmacist, pharmacy manager or owner as the scope of the practice change
- Prepare radioactive materials for shipment according to regulations
- Delivering radioactive shipment to the hospital or clinic for patient use in a safe and timely manner as needed

Required qualifications of the ideal candidate:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Ohio certified pharmacy technician license in good standing or the ability to obtain one within 1 year of employment (experience with radiopharmaceuticals is not required)
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass a DOT physical
- Able to pass a background check
- Capable of driving up to 2.5 hours continuously
- Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds

- Ability to take direction from multiple supervisors
- Punctual
- Ability to supervise other employees
- Comfortable working in proximity to radioactive materials
