Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Marion, OH is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide prehensive psychological services throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic, social, and emotional development in a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and remend necessary services
- Assist in crisis intervention and support positive school climate initiatives
- Utilize data to inform decision-making and monitor student outes
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in public school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Effective munication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel
