Accurate is looking for a Journeyman Pipefitter to assist with commercial Hydronic and Industrial projects. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance as well as installing systems according to blueprints or other technical documents. You will also oversee apprentice Pipefitters who have not achieved their journeyman status as they make minor repairs. All employees must follow OSHA regulations and maintain a clean workspace.

Duties/Responsibilities:

These duties are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned at any given time based on the assigned job.

• Install and repair Hydronic Heating and Cooling systems, Industrial piping in factory setting
• Locate and repair leaks in piping
• Install or replace piping components.
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Oversee apprentices on-site
• Document issues and repairs
• Follow OSHA regulations

Pipefitter Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Commercial Pipefitting experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• OSHA 30 is a plus
• Blueprint reading skills
• Job sites include commercial construction projects of various sizes.
• Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, install Hydronic piping, Steam and Industrial piping.
• Install large equipment Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Air Handers and much more.
• Assemble and install piping, valves, and fitting.

Requirements:

• Organizational skills a must.
• Minimum 5 years documented experience required for Journeyman consideration.
• Zero experience for consideration of becoming an apprentice.
