Landscaping Project Crew Lead

As a Landscape Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing and performing a variety of landscape maintenance and installation tasks. Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in lawn and landscape maintenance duties, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Perform tasks such as planting trees and shrubs, applying mulch, raking, and general landscape installation operations.
• Maintain and enhance hardscapes, including stonework and retaining walls, and assist with the removal of shrubs and trees as needed.
• Conduct spring and fall clean-ups to maintain client properties throughout the seasons.
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, snow blowers, and plow trucks.
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs to ensure safe and effective operation.
• Support and guide team members to achieve project goals and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• At least one year of experience in lawn care and landscaping.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in landscaping is preferred.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Experience operating a skid steer loader is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and quality work.
