Coil Assembly and Repair Technician

Overview:

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Coil Assembly & Repair Technician, where you'll work on high-performance industrial coils and furnace systems used in cutting-edge heating technologies. Key Responsibilities:

? Assemble and repair electrical coils of various sizes and specifications using copper tubing and other materials.

? Set up and operate coil winding machines based on wire gauge, number of turns, spacing, and insulation requirements.

? Mill copper ends, braze conductors, and prepare coils with proper identification and insulation.

? Perform layout, grouting, and complete assembly of melting furnaces using prefabricated parts.

? Install and bend hydraulic tubing, cylinders, and assemblies according to engineering drawings.

? Conduct water and hydraulic pressure tests to ensure performance and quality standards.

? Perform occasional off-site service visits as needed.

? Follow all safety protocols, cleanup procedures, and maintain a well-organized work environment.

Qualifications:

? High school diploma or equivalent required.

? 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in coil winding, mechanical assembly, or similar manufacturing environments.

? Basic understanding of electrical principles and coil design.

? Proficiency with hand tools, brazing, and power tools.

? Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and bills of materials.

? Forklift certification preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

? Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

? Capable of metric conversions and standard shop math.

? Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve during assembly or repair processes.

? Comfortable working in a factory setting with moderate to loud noise levels.

? Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including kneeling, reaching, or crouching.
