As a Product Senior Associate within the Firmwide Core Deposits team, you will be responsible for driving the execution of product initiatives from concept to delivery while contributing to the broader product strategy and vision. You will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders, leadership, and the development team — ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered efficiently. Your focus will be on maximizing the value delivered by the scrum team through effective backlog management, agile process leadership, data-driven decision making, and a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability across the deposit’s platform.

Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Manage the product backlog by gathering requirements, translating objectives into well-defined epics/stories (with acceptance criteria), and prioritizing work aligned to business objectives
- Collaborate with Senior Product Managers and stakeholders to refine and reprioritize features based on strategic focus, customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to maintain alignment, transparency, and effective sprint execution
- Monitor and communicate sprint progress, risks, priority changes, and agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time), removing impediments to ensure timely delivery
- Drive continuous improvement, continuous deployment adherence, and defect management to maintain quality and incorporate stakeholder/end-user feedback and research into future sprints
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Strong understanding of the product development life cycle, agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and design principles
- Experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for scrum teams, with proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable development work
- Proficiency with agile tools such as JIRA, Jira Align, Confluence, or equivalent
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience working directly with cross-functional scrum teams in a delivery-focused product role within a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Familiarity with agile metrics, reporting tools, and data analytics / data literacy
- Developing knowledge of deposits, core banking platforms, or financial services product domains
- Familiarity with AI tools and concepts, with a demonstrated interest in leveraging AI to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance product outcomes
- Bachelor's degree
