Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Telemetry Travel Opportunity
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry for a travel assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Akron, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic setting focused on epilepsy monitoring and medical overflow.
Job Details
- Location: Akron, OH - A vibrant community with a rich history and numerous cultural attractions.
- Start Date: August 17, 2025
- End Date: November 15, 2025
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
- Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
- 2+ years of recent RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- ACLS/BLS & NIH certifications required
- Recent experience with EPIC software
- Proficiency in drawing blood and starting IVs
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution (ACEN or CCNE)
- Deliver high-quality care in a 17-bed Med-Surg/Tele unit
- Monitor epilepsy patients and manage medical overflow
- Float as needed and adapt to diverse patient needs
- Serve as a charge nurse during assigned shifts
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5
