Account Manager

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction with services provided
- Meet with clients regularly to discuss ongoing projects, renew contracts, and identify opportunities for additional enhancement projects
- Network with clients, associations, and subcontractors to generate referrals and new business leads
- Collaborate with Foremen to organize and oversee daily tasks for landscape and maintenance teams
- Provide guidance, motivation, and training to team members, promoting professional development through the company’s training program
- Assist with preparation and organization of tools, equipment, and materials for daily operations
- Ensure proper horticultural practices and safety procedures are followed and taught to staff
- Support Landscape and Maintenance leaders in ensuring efficient completion of all tasks
- Review and ensure accuracy of work orders and timesheets prior to administrative approval
- Assist in preparing billing materials and invoices for clients
- Utilize company software for time tracking, estimating, and contract management
- Participate in ongoing education and industry events to stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the landscape industry
- Strong horticultural knowledge
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Spanish language skills are a plus, or willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Willingness to learn company-specific software and procedures
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in the landscape industry
