Horticulturist
New Albany Country Club is seeking a Horticulturist to join our turf care maintenance team. The horticulturist is responsible for a crew of 4-5 to maintain our clubhouse grounds and landscape beds. This hands-on management position requires a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee landscape maintenance, restoration and design of clubhouse grounds
- Trimming and pruning of trees and shrubs
- Weed control in landscape beds and club lawns
- Mowing and trimming of club lawns
- Identify and treat pests and disease
- Moisture management of beds and turf
- Manage 2 on site greenhouses
- Landscape or horticulture degree
- Must have or be able to obtain, an Ohio pesticide license
- Team player
- Eye for detail
- Self-starter who is able to lead a small crew in the day-to-day maintenance of the club grounds.
