Now Hiring: Quality Inspector

Manufacturing 2nd shift

Location: Highland Heights, OH

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00/hour - based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Job Summary:

As a Quality Inspector you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our precision-manufactured products meet the highest quality standards. We're looking for detail-driven professionals with a strong background in manufacturing inspections.

Objectives:

• Ensure compliance with Company quality standards and QMS requirements
• Uphold the company mission and core values with professionalism and urgency
• Promote teamwork, ethics, and a respectful workplace

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process, first-piece, and final inspections of machined and washed parts
• Inspect cut-blanks, stamped/threaded nipples, and special orders
• Approve manufacturing setups and ensure products meet specs
• Use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability records
• Communicate with supervisors on any quality concerns or needed adjustments
• Inspect purchased products using defined measurements and criteria
• Support production metrics: accuracy, on-time delivery, and quality
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in manufacturing or inspecting precision machined parts
• Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T
• Skilled in basic math and computer use
• Detail-oriented; able to identify fine surface flaws
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent attendance and work habits
• Physical ability to:
• Stand/bend for full shifts
• Lift 50 lbs. continuously, 70 lbs. occasionally
• Push/pull carts up to 150 lbs.
• Move 12–24 ft lengths of pipe
• Willing to work overtime as needed
