Job Description:
The Patient Service Representative is a front-line, patient-facing role responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily clinic operations. This individual will be the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting access to care within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance and update patient demographic information
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collect co-pays and assist with basic billing questions
- Support administrative and front desk operations as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Experience in healthcare, customer service or reception (preferred)
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required (car preferred)
- Reporting To: Office Manager
