Plant Director - Dayton, Ohio Job Summary As a Site Director here at PIP | HSP, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our Morning Pride site, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service and support to our customers. Your role will involve managing resources, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization. You will report directly to our Global ISC Leader, and you’ll work out of our Dayton, OH location. In this role, you will impact the organization by leading a diverse & highly skilled team, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives to enhance customer satisfaction and drive growth in a textile production environment. Job Responsibilities- Lead and manage site operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Own and drive the performance metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory, ensuring that all operational & financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to optimize operational processes and improve efficiency across all functions.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain performance to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
- Drive productivity through lean transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage a highly diverse, multi-lingual workforce to foster an inclusive and productive work environment.
- Ensure high skill levels in textile production processes and maintain quality standards through regular training and development programs.
- Conduct regular assessments of operational performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve business goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including our General Manager, customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and support for operational objectives.
- 8 years of proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Expertise in operational excellence methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with resource allocation and project management.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies that enhance operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within operations.
- Experience in textile/garment operations and industrial sewing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for driving operational improvements and delivering exceptional customer service.
