Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity to grow and gain hands-on experience across all aspects within a supply chain!
In this entry-level position, you will work closely with our Demand Planner to execute, through data driven decisions, purchasing needs for the company. Your primary focus will be book buying to support the Wonderbook product, but you will also gain exposure to other categories such as packaging, office supplies, warehouse supplies, and other on-demand sourcing & procurement needs.
This position does require working on-site, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with new and current vendors/suppliers to establish ongoing, mutually beneficial relations.
- Collaborate with Demand Planner on all purchasing requirements
- Issue purchase orders to vendors, suppliers, and pubs
- Receive packing lists, record and correct items shorted/missing, damaged, or incorrectly shipped
- Assist with sourcing, including obtaining pricing and samples for new products
- Purchasing of all production and facility supplies
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced, multi-task environment while ensuring accuracy.
- Minimum 1 year Supply Chain / Buying experience or equivalent education from accredited institution.
- Prior experience working with system driven inventory management; NetSuite experience a plus but not required
Working Conditions
- May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 35 lbs.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Salary for this role is $40,000.
