Housing Specialist

*HOUSING SPECIALIST - (40 hours/week, $18.50 per hr.) * Adams Brown Community Action Partnership is accepting applications for a Housing Specialist in our Housing Department.

Job Requirements

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Collect rent and other charges

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Process move-ins and move-outs

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Prepare interim and annual re-certifications

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Prepare maintenance reports and follow up on needed repairs

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Make rent deposits and prepare monthly reports

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Conduct application intake and interviews

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintain waiting lists

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Assist with program reviews

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Conduct annual unit inspections

Qualifications**

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Associate degree in a business-related field preferred

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}One year of public housing or related business experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Proficient computer skills

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ability to prepare written reports

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Strong interpersonal and communication skills

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Ability to maintain confidentiality

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record meeting agency insurance standards
