Escrow Assistant

A title company is seeking an Escrow Assistant who will complete real estate escrow transactions by gathering, checking, and preparing documents, maintaining accounts and setting appointments. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

Organize escrow requirements by reviewing instructions
Maintain escrow accounts and records
Prepare transaction documents by ordering title reports, completing forms and statements, and gathering and organizing documents
Support closings by setting appointments, assembling documents, checking documents for completeness and accuracy, and answering questions
Complete closing by recording and filing documents and distributing final closing statements and title documents
Comply with all regulatory requirements and standard practices
Participate in continuing education
Enhance the organizations reputation by providing the highest standard of customer service
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Must have 5 consecutive years of recent escrow experience. Knowledge of Qualia is preferred but not necessary
Must be able to prepare transaction documents, order title reports, complete forms and statements, and gather and organize documents
Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
Must be able to participate in continuing education
Must comply with all regulatory requirements and standard practices
Must have exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
Must provide the highest standard of customer service
Must have the ability to prioritize and optimize daily schedules
Must be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
Must have a strong work ethic and commitment
