Muskingum Iron and Metal is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of general warehouse worker. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please look at the list of qualifications below.
Responsibilities for general warehouse worker
- Receiving orders
- Equipment inspection
- Pulling and packing of orders
- Stocking and replenishment
- Outbound shipping
- Perform daily cycle counting
- Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution
- Maintain a clean work area
- Operate Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) preferred – pallet jack
- Drive semi-trucks around the yard (no CDL required)
- Work in a Safety Sensitive environment
- Work in a team environment
- Work in a fast-paced work environment
Qualifications for general warehouse worker
- This position requires you to have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping and using safe lifting techniques.
- Constantly required to stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, kneel, crouch or crawl.
· Possess flexibility and adaptability to take on additional job responsibilities, as needed· Must be able to work quickly, independently, and accurately in a fast-paced environment· Must be able to work on your feet for a full day· Maintain a regular, dependable attendance· Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forthBenefits:In addition to a competitive hourly rate, benefits include vacation, health insurance, matching 401(K), profit sharing and paid holidays.
