• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract)
• Clinical Setting: Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 14, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:45 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Up to 2 weekend days during the contract
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,250 - $2,310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• RN Surgery certification preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, physical/health statement, and others as needed)
• Successful completion of perioperative skills checklist and competency exams
• Background check and fingerprinting as required for healthcare jobs
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and safety throughout the surgical process
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
• Demonstrate flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts as required by the contract
