Quality Control Technician

We are seeking an experienced dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:

Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in process production, finished products, and recording the results
Approve incoming materials and in process production by confirming specifications, conduct a visual and measurement test, and reject and return unacceptable materials
Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
Coach and mentor junior employees and seek opportunities to grow leadership in others
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading tech publications, attending seminars, and watching industry videos
Keep and maintain compliance reports
Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

Degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred buy not required
Two-year work experience in leadership or a managerial position in lieu of a degree
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
Must have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Must be able to pay a high attention to detail
Must have the ability to maintain and update inspection and compliance reports
