B-Level Automotive Technician

Westside Tire & Service is hiring a B-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. Work Monday - Friday and be done by 5:00. Family-friendly work environment. Competitive pay and great benefits. You should have demonstrated experience as an automotive mechanic on cars and light trucks. Opportunity for advancement and paid schooling for the right candidate.

Pay Range: $18 - $21 an hour plus potential bonus of $75 - $300 per week.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle inspections.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems on customer vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and general mechanical work on vehicles such as oil changes, tire repairs, tire.
• mounting and balancing, tire rotations, alignments, flushes, and brakes.
• Replace TPMS sensors.
• Perform light electrical diagnostics and repairs with minimal assistance from master technician.
• Perform steering and suspension repairs with minimal assistance from master technician.
• Willingness to obtain certification as needed.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Help keep repair shop clean and organized.
• Additional duties may be applicable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have own tools.

Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in automotive repair.
