About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU License: Valid state or compact RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU - ACLS/BCLS certification required - Previous travel nursing experience preferred Description: Provide care to patients within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients. Utilize skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring. Familiarity with Epic system for documentation is required. Schedule consists of weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. This position offers a dynamic schedule with the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.
