CEW Delaware company in need of several CEW Operators - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available.
CEW (Copper Electric Wire): Employees apply enamel to copper wire for use in EV motors. CEW needs a very mechanically minded person who can infer instructions from watching the trainer. They do most of their own machine maintenance. CEW also needs people who are strong independent thinkers with great problem-solving abilities. Lastly, they must be ok with heights. There is a 90ft. tower that they must work with. They will go up and down the stairs all day. It is important to note that the stairs and floor of the tower are see-through. Some people are ok with heights, but seeing all the way down to the main floor between your feet can make even them nervous.
HOURS
First shift is $17.50 8-4pm, and 2nd/3rd shift is $19.25.
For 12-hour shifts: 1st is 7a-7p, 2nd shift is 7p-7a.
• Week 1 work: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (48 hours)
• Week 2 work: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday (36 hours)
For 8-hour shifts: 1st is 8-4pm, 2nd is 3p-11p, 3rd is 11p-7a.
Applicants must be mechanically-inclined.This can be a simple as someone who can work on their own car and/or does household maintenance.
Salary info:
$17.50 - $19.50 / hr
