What you’ll be doing
- Orders food and supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels
- Maintains appropriate food/labor costs according to budget
- Creates/maintains a friendly and enjoyable work atmosphere while still holding staff accountable to established standards and policies
- Ensures the high-volume kitchen operates efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Builds positive and professional relationships with staff and vendors
- Provides assistance to fellow staff in other areas as needed or requested
Skills you’ll bring along
- Previous kitchen manager experience preferred
- SafeServ certification preferred
- Has a positive, friendly, cooperative attitude
- Organized with a commitment to quality and safety
- Able to communicate openly, honestly and professionally
- Able to operate all areas of the kitchen as needed
- Capable of making quick decisions and problem solving
- Lift and/or move 10 to 30 lbs.
Job Type
- No Sunday hours
- Full-time position
- Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
- On-the-job training provided
