**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting guests, staff, and/or visitors as appropriate.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
+ Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Support cultural institution events and activities by maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
