Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Responsibilities

• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)*
• Pre/post hemodialysis management*
• Renal failure*
• Accessing/managing ports*
• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care/management
• Phlebotomy
• Peripheral line care/management
• PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Epidural analgesia*
• Manage cardiac drips – no titration*
• Procedural sedation administration/monitoring*
• Thrombolytic agents*
• Titrate cardiac drips*
• Heparin protocols
• PCA
• Skin grafts*
• Surgical drains
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring (unit‑based and remote)
• Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• IV insulin protocols
• Titration of insulin drips
• Feeding tube care and management
• Substance withdrawal
• Nasal cannula
• Oxygen administration
• Oxygen tanks
• Non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions/PPE
• Wound care/Wound Vac

Requirements & Experience

• 2 years of experience (with like experience)
• Patient ratio: 1:3
• Epic charting system required (Any listed in JD)
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Float required within OSU organization
• Every‑other‑weekend coverage
• Must have valid compact or state license
• RTO must be built into contract
• Education must be ACEN or CCNE accredited
• Travel experience not required
